RENEE KUNN- training staff
Renee Kuhn was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She received the majority of her training at Contempo Dance Center, under the amazing instruction of Nian Cadman. She also attended Dance Inc. under the direction of Hodgie Jo; and was fortunate to train with Brian Friedman while he was still in Arizona. Renee had the wonderful opportunity to perform as Clara in Ballet Arizona’s rendition of The Nutcracker.

Following graduation from high school, Renee moved to Los Angeles. She lived, worked, and danced in LA for five years. Continuing to train, she took classes from numerous notable teachers at both EDGE Performing Arts Center and Moro Landis Millennium. Renee performed pieces choreographed by Andre Fuentes, Chebar Williams, and most fulfilling, a piece by Robert Schultz for the choreographer’s ball, Carnival, held at the Key Club on Sunset Blvd. Robert Schultz was kind enough to ask Renee to be his assistant, which turned into a tremendous traveling adventure, teaching and assisting all over the country at various studios and universities.

Most recently, Renee was hand-picked by Sherry Zunker to be in the original cast of the production shows onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s, The Serenade of the Seas. She spent the last one and a half years performing as a dancer for Royal Caribbean. Renee began dancing at age four. Since then, dance has become a part of her, an activity that simply makes her feel more alive. She is thankful that dance creates an outlet for all the other passions in her life. .
